SENSE THE DANGER

The indulgence of our senses caused the state of the planet but our understanding of it through them is the only way to save it.

  1. SCENT

“By scratching a dot, you will release the scent of charred wood, smoke and despair. A smell we will become all too familiar with if action to tackle climate change is not taken.”

Each dot represents a wildfire in 2023 and by using a map we can see how extensive the damage really is while simultaneously transporting the viewer to those areas through the power of smell.

2. SIGHT

“Art imitates life but when our life as we know it turns to rubble, our artwork reflects that harsh reality”

Partnering with the AGO, WWF will produce an art exhibit, presenting art that depicts various landscapes but the artwork slowly presents the impact of global warming on our nature.

3. TOUCH

“Feel the beautiful textures of endangered species that will soon become a mere accessory to the wealthy and a mythical creature to our grandchildren. So sense the danger now to put a stop to tomorrow. ”

We will create an interactive game that will allow children and parents alike to take an active role in identifying the rapid demise of those that inhabit our planet.

4. TASTE

“Our world is melting before our eyes so enjoy the taste of the remaining clean water before it becomes a precious commodity we can no longer afford.”

A public installation where people can drink from a giant melting ice cube, both hydrating and educating the public on the alarming rate in which our icecaps are melting.

5. SOUND

“Earth’s music is a cacophony of noise from all walks of life, each working harmoniously to create the ambient sound of this beautiful planet but with the declining state of the world those sounds soon turn to that of dying ecosystems and deafening silence.”

Another installation that transports listeners into two different worlds - one in which are planet is thriving and another in which the effects of climate change have depleted and tarnished the chaotic yet beautiful sounds of our planet.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

Partnering with Google for the social aspect of our campaign in which users have to play an active role in identifying the issues. Incorrect answers result in having to watch an un-skippable 30s video on the climate crisis — because Google ReCAPTCHA proves your human but caring about climate change proves your humanity.
